Welcome to Port Maw - Your Battlefleet Gothic Source
Welcome to Port Maw!

What exactly is Port Maw you ask? Well Port Maw is a community-driven website dedicated to the tabletop hobby game Battlefleet Gothic (BFG for short), by Games Workshop. For those of you familiar with Warhammer 40,000, but have never heard of Battlefleet Gothic before, You could say that BFG is the space component of 40K. BFG is the game of the Warhammer 40K universe where you get to command the fleets of starships against each other in a battle for supremacy. The 40K races that currently have fleets (or at least a couple ships) in Battlefleet Gothic are the Imperium (Imperial Navy), Chaos, Eldar, Craftworld Eldar, Dark Eldar, Tau, Necrons, Tyranids, and the Orks. There are also Rogue Trader and a few other "free agent" type ships available as well.

So what is our goal? Our goal here at Port Maw is to provide you with a single unified source for all your Battlefleet Gothic needs. It has been over eight years now since Battlefleet Gothic was first published by GW, and the support the game is getting is sparse at best. If we want our game not only to survive but to thrive and grow, it is up to us as the community that enjoys it to be that support! That is what we are here for.

BFG Ork Hulk
A really cool BFG Ork Hulk has been posted over on Brynjolfr’s Weblog .

Make sure you go check it out at the rest of the posted pictures and tell them Port Maw sent you!

Project Distant Darkness
Greetings fellow Battlefleet Gothic players,

Last two months Port Maw, as well as three other forums, have seen a couple of teasers regarding a new fanmade supplement for the game.
Just recently the finished supplement, Project Distant Darkness has gone online!

This pdf contains a new Tau fleet based on the Forgeworld models. The rules are used in addition to the existing rules by Forgeworld. But the Project is more then only rules, it creates a whole new setting within the Tau Empire for you to explore.

Best regards,
Horizon
